Poor Susan Estrich, she has gotten her panties in a wad again. But this time it’s in regards to her lawyer buddy Bert Fields and his connection with an investigation into convicted private investigator Anthony Pellicano the once exclusive private eye for Bill and Hillary Clinton. Pellicano has also been known to be involved in a little intimidation and strong-arm activities.

Anthony had a habit of illegally wiretapping the subjects he was investigating and Bert a big time Hollywood lawyer with big time clients would on occasions use the expertise of Pellicano. Now the big time government prosecutors want to know what Bert knows about Anthony’s wiretapping expertise in regards to its illegal nature.

According to Susan, Bert is the smartest and the most ethical lawyer she knows. Imagine that, how many times have we heard that before. Call me silly but I am a little skeptical when lawyers start to praise other lawyers for their ethical conduct. How smart and ethical is Bert when he allows himself to get involved with an unethical private investigator that routinely uses illegal wiretaps? When you lie down with dogs there is a good possibility you will end up with fleas. Does birds of a feather ring a bell?
