Arlington Avenue at this particular point is the border line between the Borough of Mt. Oliver and the South Side section of Pittsburgh. This section of the South Side is frequently referred to as the South Side Slopes. When Car 1661 crosses Arlington Avenue onto Brownsville Road it will be in Mt. Oliver. But in this photo Car 1661 forever remains in the South Side
